News / Amiga 68k port of DosBox 0.74 Released
« Last post by 4pLaY on February 02, 2019, 06:21:28 PM »
NovaCoder has released DosBox 0.74 for 68k based Amigas using either AGA or RTG.

DOSBox is a DOS-emulator that uses the SDL-library which makes DOSBox very easy
to port to different platforms. DOSBox has already been ported to many different
platforms, such as Windows, BeOS, Linux, MacOS X and AmigaOS.

Unfortunately this special cut-down 68k port is still very slow on real classic
hardware.

Direct Download link for the AGA version.

I was supposed to go here, but just didn't have time - too much going on at work to spare this time.... Hopefully I can go next time. A lot of great people at this event.

Anyone here who was there?

General / Friend development, full steam ahead
« Last post by m0ns00n on January 27, 2019, 12:57:19 AM »
Sitting and coding a new Friend app. Let's see how it goes.

https://pasteboard.co/HYiPkK3.png

Friend, as some of you may know, is an Amiga inspired Network OS (that will be native sooner or later). It uses Tripos/AmigaOS like paths, libraries and other stuff Amiga related. But it uses web technologies and Javascript as a main tech to enable quick application development and hardware agnostic access for the user.

I'll post some images here as I progress. :-)

Please ask anything related to Friend and Amiga here.
